Rapid erection of new TPG span over Wharncliffe Rd. in London Ontario. Erection began late Friday night after road closure. NRE worked around the clock to complete erection on the weekend ‘work block’ before Monday morning rush hour traffic. The erection was completed ahead of schedule on Sunday afternoon. The bridge consisted of painted through plate girders, deck panels, traction bracing, bearing installation and miscellaneous metals including painted guardrails and grating walkways. |
