| Overview: | The Linhaven long-term care home was redeveloped on the existing Linhaven site at 403 Ontario St. in St. Catharines Ontario. The design was a five-storey with mechanical penthouse which includes space for 256 long-term care beds and a senior community hub. The Structure was designed with multiple construction types which resulted in weekly pull plan meetings coordinating deliveries, site staging and cranes for all trades. Precast bared on Structural Steel, load bearing stud walls & concrete core walls (stairs & elevator shaft). Each storey had to be built one floor at a time much like a house of cards. |
