| Overview: | NRE was contracted for erection only on this 2500 ton structural steel & 200,000SF steel deck package. Erection was completed on a very tight schedule with 6 day work weeks. 2 crawler cranes were utilized for the main building erection and a rough terrain crane was utilized for secondary steel erection. Steel was erected as fast as it could be supplied to site by our team. 100 ton crane runways are located inside the main plant. Linamar’s new facility will be the first gigacasting plant owned and operated by a North American parts maker. |
