Overview: | The projected consisted of a new Sport Recreation centre with two indoor hockey arenas and an indoor Gymnasium complete with a second floor running track. There are also two feature canopies with massive galvanized V-shaped columns. The geometry of the roof was complex with multiple work points which took extensive coordination to layout right. The Canada Summer Games was schedule for Summer 2021 which was extended to Summer 2022 due to Covid-19. It’s note worthy that the Structural Steel scope was on schedule to meet the original schedule prior to any schedule extension was ever made. |
