| Overview: | Additions and renovations to the existing 100 year old Haircloth Manufacturing building. This project was part of the process to revitalize downtown St. Catharines. AESS "Diamond Trusses" were erected on to the fourth floor of the existing Haircloth building to eliminate existing columns from within the building. Diamond trusses were used as structural art to showcase the teachings of the new school. New mechanical grillage was added to the existing roof. A new classroom / practice theatre was built on site to support the First Ontario Arts Centre next door and to provide in school teaching for the students of Brock University. |
